To create a new task, double-click on any time slot in the timeline. This will open a dialog where you can enter the task details. Alternatively, you can click the "+" button in the top toolbar to add a task to a specific time.
Yes, you can move tasks by simply clicking and dragging them to a new time slot. You can also resize tasks by dragging the bottom edge to adjust their duration.
Yes, Day Scheduler automatically saves your data to your browser's local storage. Your schedule will persist between sessions, even if you close the browser or shut down your computer. However, clearing browser data or cookies may delete your saved schedule.
The Inbox is designed to capture tasks that you want to track but haven't yet assigned to a specific time. To add an item to your inbox, click on the "Inbox" tab in the left sidebar and then click the "+" button. When you're ready to schedule an inbox item, you can drag it to the timeline or right-click and select "Schedule".
To create a custom category, click the "Categories" tab in the left sidebar, then click the "+" button at the bottom of the categories list. Enter a name for your category, select a color from the color picker, and click "Save".
Yes, you can export your schedule data by clicking the settings icon in the top-right corner and selecting "Export Data". This will download a JSON file containing your schedule, which you can later import using the "Import Data" option in the same menu.
